Batman and Talia stopped the unseen Apocalypse of 09, and something caused Bruce to leave the Justice League.
Bruce Timm and co. Should have made the "Near Apocalypse of 09" into the final story Arc of JLU. That would have been dope seeing Batman going after Ra al Ghul one last time with the help of the JL, stopping the human race from extinction.
I have been meaning to check out the Batman Beyond comics. For those that have been reading them, are they any good? And should I just start with Batman Beyond 2.0, or start with reading the earlier ones?
I remember watching the first aired episode on The WB back in 1999. Oh how time flies.
Batman Beyond the Mr. Freeze episode left me
You can thank Bat-Embargo for that. One writer did say that the idea came up a few times and described a scene where Ra's has all of the Justice League layed out and then realizes someone is missing and he turns around to reveal Batman, (probably with a face) standing right behind him. It sounded epic. Unfortunately the Embargo put the kibosh on it. A lot of the ideas that they were going to use were later used for the episode Destroyer.
The 2010 mini series is very good and I suggest you find it breh. They bring back a lot of characters from B:TAS and JLU, explain what happened to a lot of characters and to Gotham in general during Bruce's retirement, and one of the big villains of the series was never even apart of the DCAU, but he's pretty well known to comic fans. If you're wanting to know who it is...
It's Hush
Get it.
Same here. I also remember watching the 1st episodes of "Superman: the Animated Series" when it originally aired, it aired in Primetime.I remember watching the first aired episode on The WB back in 1999. Oh how time flies.

Same here. I had to rewatch "Batman Beyond" as a young adult to fully appreciate the showIt had to grow on me. I was bias because of Batman: The Animated Series. But after a few eps. I was hooked. Wow it's been a long time.
