kurt cobain isnt really the 'preacher' for the outcasts, i enjoy nirvana's music but they were just angsty white men who complain about not being popular at school. the smiths, particularly morrissey songs were written by a person who was/is an outcast because of his eccentric and honest personality and because he is shy and introverted. his songs were much more honest and relatable to anyone who is shy and awkward, people who are 'weirdos' and thats why millions respect and love morrissey as an artist. whereas nirvana brings out the inner angst and anger people have, he doesnt really soothe or comfort it.

:heh: Not even fukking close. I just saw a doc or two and whenever I listen to artists I typically like to read about where they grew up, their life story, that kind of thing.
What documentaries, homie? I'd love to check them out.

One that was pretty good I just saw was Montage of Heck. I'll say this though about it. They pussied out big time and don't really get into the suicide and they don't interview Dave Grohl, but it's still worth seeing.
