So I always wondered this, would WCW have been like 2002-2004 TNA if it survived?

Nah not at all because they would have had TV (seeing as the only way they would have survived would have been Fusient buying them and that was contingent on them being on TV) and they would have had the WCW guys under contract your Booker, Rey, DDP and others. The only loss would have potentially been the guys on Time Warner contracts who wouldn't have wanted to give that money up.

They'd have a higher starting point with available talent, TV, a recognisable brand (for good and bad reasons) plus they'd have been in the market for any of the ECW guys who became available when they went belly-up so potentially RVD and Rhino could have been in the mix. WCW would have been a lot closer (but bigger) to TNA in 2012 when they went on the road than they would have been to TNA in 2002. WCW may have been a mess but even on their deathbed they were still way bigger than anything that's followed them they would have scaled back a little and reconfigured but if they ended up anywhere near what TNA was Fusient would have probably paid Vince to take it and ran out.

'02 TNA was some bottom of the barrel, renegade, trying to turn chicken shyt to chicken salad but failing comically stuff.

Just so mad, they just can't take it

DisGOAT was going main-event programmes with AJ Styles :wow:

And he was the bigger star :manny: AJ in '02 was just Billy Kidman with balance.

Yes and no.

Yes in the sense that they would be taping multiple shows at once from a single location (Bischoff has said they were slated to be based in Vegas). No because they would have had a much higher budget that would have made them less bush league than TNA was.
