Disco Inferno is an embarrassment to professional wrestling. He's a nobody, he never drew shyt in his career. Him yapping about wrestling today is equal to some random fan complaining. Those early TNA years where Jeff Jarret made himself a champion of TNA were a shyt show.

Real talk, Disco was a good comedy lower-midcarder who took some good asswhoopings from Miss Jacqueline and had that thing where he had a new submission, but he lost matches because he was too dumb to know how to put it on. Plus his theme music was good.

There's nothing embarrassing about being that because the card needs entertaining midcard stuff, too, but Gilbertti trying to talk about anything beyond that is silly, yeah. Disco was ultimately about half as good as Santino in that comedy lower-midcarder spot because Santino actually got the crowd behind him when he almost won the WWE Championship a couple of times, and Disco never could have got that sort of love from the crowd.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!

Remember, you're required to defend Cody since he's now in WWE.

I remember when that first popped up back in 2018, I was like "I felt that reply, it hurt, and it wasn't even directed at me. :picard:" Disco was making a good case for wrestlers needing to take a step back and maybe try to be safer, but on the other hand, Cody told no lies about Disco either. I forget what prompted all of that to begin with.

I didn’t start catching on to TNA until Jeff Hardy showed up as a surprise opponent for AJ Styles :wow:

Impact on Fox Sports net and later Spike was the golden age of TNA before it completely went off the rails in ‘09-‘10.

Yeah there was a lot of :trash: storylines and segments because of Russo but the in ring product was on point…There’s so many classic/gems from that era i remember that it’s sad that it’s become forgotten unless you was there to experience it.

Ehh…I never liked Disco as a performer. At the beginning in WCW, he did get over with the fans because of the 70’s gimmick but once the NWO got hot, Disco’s gimmick was dated and he wasn’t cool anymore. His talent wasn’t good enough to get over with a different gimmick.

See this is ridiculous. This is like saying terry Taylor sucks after doing red rooster. Disco inferno had a disco inferno gimmick. Wtf was he gonna do with that? Also late 90s wcw wasn’t giving low or midcarder anything.

disco has proved enough he can get real heat and talk on the mic. He really shoulda buried Cody for saying that. That jackass entire gimmick is “my father was dusty Rhodés” and he flopped every where he went. How u start a company and you suck so much the fans boo you? :hhh:

In my book, Disco didn't have the look of a top tier guy. He just looked plain jane all around. I don't think I could buy him as a main event guy anywhere

With that said, if he was in wwe Vince would've made him a legit manager or heat inducing B- level character.
