Edit: DirecTV has turned on all 8 Encore channels until the end of July as a thank you for our patience. I forgot to add that

Even though I'm locked in for another 18 months (got them to get me a 3rd HD DVR for free ), I'm gonna tell them I'll switch to Uverse or Comcast. and just pay the early termination.

AMC is streaming the premier on their site. Yeah it's prolly just premier but, this is the type of attitude these channels need to have. There's so many other alternatives to view content than the tradition ancient way of just TV.
