I'm actually shocked that n*ggas fukked with Atomic Blonde. I thought it was an intriguing looking flick from the trailer so I took my girl to see it.


Maaaan.

That movie fukking sucked. Since when is a 130lb white woman in her mid-40s this ultimate lethal fighting machine capable of whooping multiple dudes asses at once?

Had an interesting plot twist or two but was ultimately forgetable. But even that had some star power with Charlize and McAvoy.

first: casting
Drew Barrymore
Lucy Lui
And Cameron Diaz were all bigger draws at the time of their Angels movie. everybody hates Kristen Stewart and she looks like a dike now. Never heard of the other two.

second: timing. we just have wonder woman and Captain Marvel. People are ready female actions but considering how few of them there are why dig up an old property to reboot now? Dark fate flopped too off the same flaw. Give us shyt were anticipating like she hulk or something.


Third: marketing, i remeber seeing a trailer like a year ago but had no idea it was dropping this month. Shouldve ramped up the marketing to build hype not let it die down.

And 2nd... I don't wanna hear this bullshyt "Men don't see female leads" excuse for this movie when:

- Lucy made a monster ass $463 Million against a budget of like $40 Million
- Salt made something like $295 against $110 Million
- Atomic Blonde tripled it's budget

shyt, Crawl (Which isn't an action movie but may as well be) made $90 Million against 13.5.

This shyt was lazily promoted, the casting for the main leads seems terrible since they're banking on bland ass, unappealing ass Kristen Stewart to carry the movie with her nonexistent "star power", and nobody is checking for Charlies Angels in 20-fukking-19.
