You're trying too hard for daps
I grew up listening to Cam and the Dips. Been a fan since I was 14. Almost 12 years. Shut the fukk up
Hipster cacs loved them in 04-05 too. You being one for a while doesn't change what I said.

Nah most hipster cac didn't start fukkin with dipset until recently a couple years ago , during that time period they were probably messin with G-unit more seeing they had more mainstream leverage and they were associated with Em, not sendin shots towards OP because I remember shorty sayin she was from Boston and they were fukking with dipset heavy back then too so I believe her , if she was from some obscure parts like Idaho or Nebraska then I would be likeHipster cacs loved them in 04-05 too. But shall we speak of the hit-and-miss sequel, Diplomatic Immunity 2?

But we got blessed with Killa hopping out the Caddy Truck ( Its Daddy Warbucks )
Y'all just kids...see what I just did?...take a couple bars off let Just live
Breh that's one my fav lines ever. The arrogance
You have this glorious beat and Cam wants to fall back a little because he doesn't want to overshadow it
Because real street cats know that 50 cent is a snitch and alot of the stories that's told about him are highly fabricated , like getting shot 9 times when he only got popped 3 times for example , not saying 50 aint earn his stripes in the streets but alot of it is inflated and then once he linked with eminem it was finito because he already had the upper advantage due to the machine so that merged with the hood tales were like a wiggers fantasy straight from maine , but growing up in the projects of the Bronx I know first hand dipset had more impact in the hood than G-unit from music , fashion . lingo etc all I used to hear outside growing up was Dipset mixtapes coming out the radios that's why you see a decade later we discuss dipset more frequently than G-unit because despite them having more mainstream popularity , that market is rarely ever loyal and tend to switch when they get tired , the hood had genuine love for dipset especially those born in the late 80s to mid 90s , for instance when it was word that dipset was reuniting my FB newsfeed was like and it was discussed for a while then when G-unit did the same it was nothing but tumbleweeds & , that offrip let me know what time it was .Facts. A lot of hipsters got into them through ASAP Mob always paying their respects.
I'm Not from Boston, but close enough. Everything that was hot in NY in the 00s made its way up to us and was hot in Mass. When I was in job corp bout 20 mins away from Boston.. Dipset was all you'd hear playing from the lounge area. We've always fukked with the Dips heavy up there.
Either you were a g unit Fan or a Dips fan. I've always fukked w/ the Dips more and so did most the people I hung around with growing up. Funnily, enough.. juelz and jr writer always seem to make it out to Springfield and perform once a year. Which is the area with the highest percentage of black people in Wmass. But no G unit members do. always found that weird/funny.
And idk bout others areA, but the whole "cacs love 50 cent" was DEF true from where I'm from. black people and Hispanics (huge Spanish population in Springfield & Holyoke) seemed to fukk w/ the dips wayyyy more heavily than white people did. White people were the ones I'd hear mostly bumping 50 and g unit
fukkin white G Unit fans was the worst. rockin G Unit apparel n shyt. Lol.Facts. A lot of hipsters got into them through ASAP Mob always paying their respects.
