I didnt say NYK would want him back. I just said that he will try to come back.

The Cavs and Thunder could potentially get better with this trade. Waiters could be the spark off the bench along with Jackson that they could use on the rare nights that KD and Russy are off. But only if he realizes that high level 6th or 7th man is his ceiling on this squad. And with Smith you pretty much know what you have. He is the player he has been his whole career and nothing will change with that. But Shumpert is the x-factor if he brings defense like he is known for and if he continues to improve his jumper.
