Word around the campfire is that Calderon is next on Phil's hit list.

:snoop: I can't believe this stupid narrative still has legs.

Uh why wouldn't it have legs...

OKC went to the finals...could have brought the same team back...but instead they made a decision to choose Ibaka over Harden a year early because they were scared to let him walk for nothing...

They never had injuries before that...they haven't stopped having injuries since then...

And to top it off Kevin Martin did what for them?

Jeremy Lamb did what for them?

Those first round picks and that 2nd round pick have carried them to where exactly?

And now they staring down the barrell of KD and westbrook free agency...

But the front office has gotten away with the narrative of "we are a small market team we have to be cap conscious"

While any time any financial information comes out about the revenue of NBA teams OKC always generates money and is almost always in the top 10 in generating money...

You talk about karma:mjlol:

Westbrook played what...5 NBA seasons at full speed attacking the rim like a madman jumping out the gym smashing on 7 footers night in and night out in the regular season and the playoffs playing heavy minutes and never had a major injury...and then the very first time he plays a team who's star player is james harden and only makes the 8th seed in the west because james harden carried them their he get's a serious knee injury on a random play where a dude swipes at the ball because he is a "scrappy player":mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

You couldn't make up that narrative if you tried...

Luckily they still got Perkins around to set them 9 million dollar screens:mjlol:

days later.. i think everyone won this trade..

i think waiters will fit well.. OKC needs another 12 ppg player on the second squad to keep the points high.. take some load off Westbrook..

i think JR smith will fit the cavs...his lenght and athleticism will be a welcomed sight on perimeter defense..

and he can catch and pop with Kyrie or lebron..

and now new york and can build a squad like toronto.. get them 6-12 mil players and get good bench..

drop bagnarni.. or drop his salary to veteran minimum..

can wait to see okc and cavs play with these changes.

Yea I don't think JR is gonna be a disaster even though he has potential to be. Getting some perimeter help allows the Cavs to play Marion & Miller less minutes so they arent as dependent on them. Dellevadova can't be out here logging heavy minutes I dont care who is injured. It makes the team more versatile and athletic. If they flip the OKC pick for Mozgov they're really in business. The Cavs are a top 5 offensive team with everyone healthy so if they keep adding defensive personnel I think we'll start to see what we expected from them.

Now that JR is on a team competing for something maybe he gets reignited...I dunno.

in the long run wiggins will be better than love
Yea and lebron probably wont be around to see that

When you have the best player in the league on your team, you try and win championships. Not sit and wait on rookies to "maybe" be good.
