Nobody is attacking you, breh. We're just being realistic that regardless of how you feel about the shyt Mel said, others might feel differently. And like @MartyMcFly said, it's the choice of the people who work with him to decide that for themselves. I mean, despite his comments about Jews, and the one infamous comment he made about the "pack", Richard Donner (who's Jewish) and Danny Glover always stood by Mel. People were disappointed in both of them too for coming out to support Mel but those guys worked with and have known Mel for years. You don't have to respect their decision, and you don't have to respect Will's if he is fine with Mel directing, but they're closer to the situation than we are.

If thats your stance then cool... but why just Will? Its like you singling him out, what about Viola Davis and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje? Possibly another minority in Jay Hernandez and Adam Beach? Possibly Common? Why does Will have to represent the black vote or stance with this?

That's how I feel, although people are entitled to feel however they want. It's probably because I've seen some similar shyt happen first hand and I also knew about Mel's alcohol troubles long before it got media attention but I've always felt the things he said were more telling of his personal situation at the time rather than how he truly feels.
