Tesla only the king of mileage breh. Lol
The quality for the price point is avg at best. They got like 4 colors to pick from and no style. The suv look like the popemobile. Tesla drivers tell me all the time my shyt looks way better than theirs.
Quality>quantity
One of the main reasons Ive kinda gone cold on Teslas. I wanna shoot for a BMW i4..but its still to expensive. I'll try and grab one with 30-40k on the dash in 2023this is why I’d buy an EV from one of the euro brands before buying a Tesla. The fit and finish for the price is trash. Terrible quality.
Switched to a EV in 2020 when the pandemic started. I'm never going back to a car with a engine. Been saving so much not paying for gas it's ridiculous.
I have a long commute so I spend about 25 a week to charge in my apartment complex. EV has too many advantages over regular cars: acceleration off the line, no oil changes low maintenance, brake regeneration(which adds miles back when you use it), carpool lane, 1 deep legally.
Come on yall it's plenty room in EVset. Yall won't be disappointed.
Don't buy a bum ass rolling egg tesla tho. Lol
Foxy Brown mathAssuming a typical Tesla gets 250 real miles on a quick charge. $250/20 = 12.5mi/dollar + time and inconvenience of those chargers
I paid $75 to refill a 25 gallon tank and I get about 17 mi/g = 17mi/g x 25g/75 dollars = 5.7 mi/dollar
And, if you'/re charging at home, you're paying a small fraction of that for electricity.

Yep matter of fact let's get rid of EVs altogether and stick with the existing fossil fuel companies. I mean they don't have any kind of monopoly whatsoever over gas today. We'll never get caught in a situation where we're paying $4-5+/gallon with themIf everybody somehow goes to majority electric vehicles, then electricity rates are probably going to get much higher because of the monopoly power companies will then have.

it'll be decades before it's even close to forced but it's the new direction yes....got a lot of kinks to work out. Took years to get gas vehicles decent too.Do most people even want an electric car? I sure as hell don’t. But they’re gonna force this shyt on us...
I get what you're saying. I just don't see the problem being EVs. It's more the market and current regulations. The way markets are setup today would just allow for few companies to monopolize and keep rates high. Regulations will need to change. You must not see what they are trying to do. But keep on living, you will see.

Im scratching my head if the alternative that nikkas suggest is to stick with fossil fuel cars as if that's a brighter future
