I'm kind of a nerd myself but I never hear anyone talking about Dragonball Z outside the coli.
Then again I'm a little older so I grew up on Transformers, Voltron, G. I. Joe. I watched most of that one DBZ season with Cell but that's it.
But I can't browse the coli without seeing references to Goku, Vegeta, super saiyan, etc. and stuff like this

It's probably cause I don't talk to a lot of people younger than early 30's.
The only people I heard talking about dbz was my younger brother @Troublesome and his friend. I just met someone 11 months ago that said him and his friends were on it heavy growing up. I'm 35 and went to high school in Japan. Maybe it's cuz I was an athlete.
Anyone class of '99 or older get deep into dbz?
