I played quite a bit of it solo and it was still fun. Co-op is a blast, but sometimes you'll get paired up with people who do missions without you and raid all the loot.

Game is terrible solo. Dying is a pain in the ass. Add a friend and all of a sudden this is one of the best games ever made.

Ain't got around to playing the second one but I had no problem wading through the first one by myself.

And unlike most, I actually liked Claptrap and all his antics. Need to stop fukking around and beat the DLC for 1 so I can get started on the handsome edition pack.
