seriously tho, if moss ever ruined his legacy, it was the time when he went to the raiders in his prime.

going to a run-first, defensive team with alex smith as a qb when youre about to be 36 year old WR mostly relying on physical talent? :heh: hows that ruining anything ?

when Moss went to the Raiders Al Davis was the only one to give him a second chance when the rest of the league was gonna lock him out

I remember some shyt, but he was still highly regarded and revered. raiders gave up a high pick for him. now the pats got him for nothing, so you can call THAT trade a 'second chance'...

his 2nd and final year on the raiders his team was 2-14 and his qbs were andrew walter and aaron brooks

If he grabs a ring then :manny:

This.

I personally don't think his legacy is ruined because he's still playing at a high level. To me, he's Jerry Rice on the Raiders, yunno? Not quite what he used to be, but still pretty gotdamn effective out that bytch.

That said....if he were to somehow get a ring in the next year or two? Oh, the haters won't be able to say shyt.

Here y'all go again holding onto the past. It's over for moss, if he still had it Alex smith would be throwing it up to him. Especially with defenses worried bout gore and Davis.

And he's great in that role, still capable but obviously not what he was.

He's a team player, hope he has a magical moment in the playoffs for his humble approach in the regular season
