I think the sudden spectre of the unknown and possible death, polarization about how to deal with the virus, along with rapid currency inflation accelerated the everyman for himself attitude that was already inherent within our culture. For better or worse, being forced to move more inward actually made some of us stronger and helped with cutting off people that were toxic to them well before the pandemic hit though. It's definitely changed social dynamics as far as being out too, so it's going to be interesting seeing the long term repercussions of this.

We're basically in the 70s again, except all the top 40 music is just women crying and fakkits making gun noises instead of a hook :damn:

  • Pointless indefinite war over
  • Stagflation
  • Opioid epidemic
  • OPEC tryna screw us,
  • Cold / proxy war with russia,
  • Cultural backlash, really just cacs and wannabe cacs with all this anti-"woke" shyt

This coupled with how integrated we are with each other and the world at large via the internet, specifically this new age of social media is a recipe for disaster.

We are meant to be in small tribes, not one giant hive. Think about it, you know when you are on vacation or go a day without the internet how freeing it is. Just you and your family or you by your lonesome, everything slows down.

Once part of the hive is infected, it’s only a matter of time before the whole thing is corrupted and here we are.

we are most def being bathed in dark
energy.........you can feel the shyt.
we had a mother and her teenage
sons move across the alley 6 months ago
and i could tell it was gonna be some
shyt because everytime the moms went
to work cars with other young bucks
were running up in that bytch.
3 weeks ago at like 4am i woke up
to AR'S going off.
I grab my 300 blackout and crack
the door because if they are in my
back yard (I'm murdering them)
turns out they were hitting that woman's crib
the fukk up.
The really fukked up thing about the situation
was how calm i was and how ready i was to
end lives at that moment.

You'd be surprised how many can't but that there is the truth because those bathed in darkness will cling to the artificial illumination of their mobile telephonic inventions and TV sets for confirmation of what they've been told to think.

When was it not?

The over commercialization of the net an how everything is a hustle as people beg for attention and the money it brings made it an every man for himself thing whereas before this was the realm within which only the big fish could swim. Everyone is a celeb in their own minds. Or at least they try and act like this. Masks on top of masks. There's levels to this.

What? :why: People are just showing you who they really are. What type of PM Dawn nonsense the tweets in the OP talking about? Did God not tell you that man is wicked from his youth up? :what: Compassion? From this society? :mjlol: You cats rip people to shreds for the slightest error and make fun of men who have difficulty getting dates and have the nerve to be surprised at the society you've brought forth? :russ::smh: You reap what you sow.

I definitely agree. People are so quick to anger and rage. Having immediate and deadly reactions to the smallest of inconveniences or perceived slights. I’m in the Hampton Roads area and there have been a ton of road rage shooting incidents out here. I generally keep a cool head anyway because I’ve got too much to lose but that doesn’t mean much when the next man/woman may not.

The Biden admin honored all the victims of Covid in the beginning of his presidency but it was drowned out by all the other unprecedented news stories. Also its a little hard to commemorate the victims of COVID when a sizeable chunk of the population is brainwashed with right leaning conspiracies suggesting that COVID wasn't real to begin with. I feel like the reality of losing +1 Million American citizens from COVID wont be reflected on until decades later when society gets to a more stable state.

I do notice that people are less friendly. I think society was already becoming less empathetic due to political polarization, late stage capitalism and social media. The isolation from COVID lockdowns just multiplied it. We don't look at people at fellow citizens anymore. There is no sense of civility.
