All Star
It seems like Pelle Pelle don't make leathers no more.
They don't even have an American website selling leathers no more. All they have is a European site selling JCPenny style urban gear and no leathers.
I find it odd that Pelle fell off that quick.
NYC and Midwest (Chicago and Detroit) nikkas known for rocking Pelle leathers hard. Pelle's been big in Hip Hop since the late 80's/early 90's. If it's true it's sad because Pelle was one of the last black owned urban brands to have a big following. And Pelle made some leathers over the years that could be considered works of art. Pelle outlasted Fubu, Phat Farm, Sean John and all of the late 90's and early 2000's hot urban brands because Pelle always catered to the black city dwellers in NYC and the Midwest as well as all over the country throughout the 90's and 2000's. Their leathers were distinctive unlike Eurocac leathers which are plain and flavorless. But it seems that now (racist) European fashion houses have become defacto urban brands. Hood nikkas would rather wear Gucci, Louis, Fendi and Versace even though many of them probably wouldn't be allowed to buy anything in person at a racist ass Gucci, Louis or Versace store.
I haven't been up to NYC during the colder months in years. I remember at the beginning of the decade Pelle was still going strong up there. Has Pelle really died in NYC, Chicago and the rest of the Midwest which kept the brand alive for literally decades with black dollars going to a black owned clothing label.

wearin one shyt was clean
From the early 90's to recently. Back in the early 90's, literally every rapper on TV had one on in a video. Will Smith wore one on Fresh Prince. Gang Starr, Nas, Biggie, Jay Z, Mobb Deep etc. either name dropped Marc Buchanan leathers or had a pic wearing one. All of them drill rappers from Chicago wore em. ASAP Ferg and them were customizing the classic retro Soda Clubs like two years ago. And boom, overnight, gone.
and the navy blue Avirex Gold Kickoff leather. Avirex retro'd that jacket Nas had on in Belly matter fact. Price tag is kinda heavy though, but it evens out to the $600 price tag in 98'.
It's shocking to not see new Pelles online.
