Did Lil Wayne make being a blood mean something in rap?

Don't know why you put Future name in the thread. A little affiliation and using slang don't mean he's a blood. You should've put 21 name in there instead
word fewcha a long way from promoting it*
But it’s a reason he’s always using the slang and that’s because being a blood matters in Hiphop now

I feel you but Game made it possible. He was the first big name rapper to rep Blood heavy. Up to that point it was always Crip. It would’ve been mad corny for a rapper not from LA to be the first. He had the whole G Unit thing then the beef

Cam'ron and Dipset were huge in the early 00's and they're the reason Wayne got accepted on the East Coast (Joe was right). They were flying the flag when NOBODY was doing it and made it the coolest thing ever because they were the first to do it with the spotlight on em besides Quik, and even he didn't really rep much.

Dip did it when it wasn't cool and made it cool and showed ppl how to rep in the 00's. Game solidified authentic LA Bloods and Wayne showed that anybody could bang now, even if you're successful rapping joining in your 20s in a place that has no Bloods lol.

Jim Jones. Final answer.

Wayne made it a thing for entertainers to run out there... pay a tax and claim a set.... this is where bloods lost their integrity HEAVY.... next thing Sean Kingston and Chris Brown are bloods :mjlol: .... that’s why when these nikkas make IG videos whining I don’t wanna hear it... y’all started letting people pay to rep and the floodgates opened
