Dipset started the Blood/bangin Crip or Blood outside of Cali wave rap in 2002. Jim & Jewelz repped Bloods HEAVY and wore red rags crazy back then. The Im Bout It Pt. 3 video was one big Blood showcase (the actual video isnt up but this BTS video shows it).

You're pretty close. Jimmy was making mention to " nine trey" & "b's up" i believe all the way back to the first diplomat tape summer 02. Bout it bout it video I believe came the following year.

Yes Jim deserves "blame" for this because in those time Dipset was super cool to nikkax and Jimmy had the young boys ear at that time

It wasn’t a trend when suge and quik were banging. In fact I rmemember people false claiming crip heavy at that time cause of snoop/Dre/easy and DPG making references.

The 00s is when everybody and their mama started false claiming blood heavy and this decade it exploded into some fukkery

Californ-i-a by way of BK

Dipset made it something you sell in rap. It was super attention grabbing and they made Bloods outside of Cali cool. Then Jim linked with Game and was certified (no pun intended).

Remember Waybe hung around Dipset and when he started repping around 2005, that's when it went commercial.

I can't get over how baggy we used to wear our clothes smh

Game is a good modern one, but Wayne made that shyt cooler.

Member those red Arab wraps everybody was copping cause of him?

You might be right about game, though.
I feel you but Game made it possible. He was the first big name rapper to rep Blood heavy. Up to that point it was always Crip. It would’ve been mad corny for a rapper not from LA to be the first. He had the whole G Unit thing then the beef
