Mobb Deep never claimed to be GOAT rappers, big difference. And yes most rappers are frauds very few are true to the art.
Every rapper claims to be the GOAT nikka, just admit you don't like Jay and move on. Stop embarrassing yourself by juelzing new arguments

Ski gave Jay the beat, and Camp Lo was cool with it..

no need to rewrite history..
I don’t know Breh. It’s just the Breh rapping at the beginning and end. First verse alone sounds very similar, but When dude at the very end starts his verse with:
You hate me yet?
Caught up in your reckless scheme is the patriot

That’s dead on how Jay was rapping on his song :ohhh:
Not through the whole song, but at times.

Camp Lo designed your Blueprint who you kidding
Ain’t shyt I could do about it though :hubie:
I’m gonna press play on that Camp Lo track one more time then I’m a leave that shyt alone man
It got me
Going

"Everybody else does it" :mjlol:

full

"But he's real" :mjlol:

full

"Have some breakfast first" :mjlol:

full

you conflating issues show even more how fukking retarded you are

Kudos your command of the English language, please use your abilities to explain how Jay Z (allegedly the GOAT rapper) gets a pass when basic azz rappers like Drake and Troy Ave don't. Feel free to use a haiku, a sonnet, a limerick, a ballad, whatever floats your boat, you may want to call Nas for help on this, although I'm not sure if you have his numbers

Canibus spittin writtens on a real freestyle on rap city?

Busta Rhymes?

Cassidy?

You might spit some writtens in a cypher, but to come live on Rap City on some freestyle sh*t and rap lyrics OFF YOUR SINGLE is some fugazi sh*t

How the hell the GOAT rapper get a pass for freestylin' with lyrics from a single off his album :dwillhuh: The bar keeps getting lower year after year :scust:

They were all spitting writtens.
None of them can rap off the top and all those raps are for or from tapes.
I can't believe this is still something I have to explain. 20 years of this same shyt to people who claim to be lovers of the art form.

What song was Cassidy spitting writtens from? I would even give a pass for an original written for that freestyle, but Jay was spitting lyrics from a single on his album I mean come on son :dead:

nikka 90% of rappers especially in the 90s did that shyt. Hell there's one Stretch & Bobbito freestyle where Mobb Deep literally spit an entire track, hook and all, from the Infamous as a "freestyle"

Very rarely are freestyles actually off the top of the dome and they're usually filled with rambling and filler bars that don't make a ton of sense

Exactly.

ALL the greats have done this at one point or another.

The only rappers who TRULY freestyle and do it well are Lupe Fiasco, KRS One, Oddisee, Black Thought, and Common.

You can throw Em in there too I suppose.

There’s no shame in spitting a written or two. Rappers have literally been doing it forever

:what:

was that like your first time ever seeing/hearing that? Cause mad rappers have done it before Jay.

had album rhymes...are these guys frauds too?

u right breh, guess a lot of people in here weren't around for the 90's, it was a pretty common thing to do. Biggies last ever freestyle for Sway and Tech was from Life after Death
