Yep and Enemy of the State is sort of a wink and nod to that movie...the older Hackman in EOtS ...like he could have been the character in TC years later.

that's the best way to put it, an experience. it blew my mind the first time i watched this movie, i couldn't believe what i'd just seen
yeah, i wouldn't say it's better than the godfather 1 and 2 but i would say it can stand right up there with it. it's the only movie i would say could stand up there with the godfather 1 and 2 too
but everythin' about "apocalypse now" is the definition of a classic
