besides the fact that they're both set in a buildong with lots of floors and a drug dealer there's not that many similaritiesI just saw Dredd 3d and it's almost the same fukking plot with minor changes here and there

I barely got around to seeing dredd and it felt like the same plot as raid but the fight scenes in raid are f uckin brutal. I liked raid better. That mama clan shyt in dredd just irked me. Like if I was in it id be ashamed to admit it. Rival clan: What set you claim fool? You: ........mama.... everybody within earshot:

I saw Raid Redemption first, then Dredd. I didn't actually know the plot for Dredd before seeing it (well I knew the plot but not that that they'd be fighting up a building for the entire flick.) Sat there with the 
face the entire time thinking "this is a God damn Raid ripoff"

I'm glad this is bumped because people really should see both. They are both entertaining movies with their own must see scenes. Dredd is still my favorite of the two but Raid Redemption did alot of action scenes better than Dredd it's just Dredd was an overall better movie imo. Raid Redemption was a good watch though, wouldn't mind sitting though either again and plan to once they are On Demand.
