We are living in an age where no matter who a fighter fights there gonna be fans who are saying he ducks their favorite. It's all a matter of perspective, if he'd fight Charlo now, UK fans would be saying he's ducking BJS... there you go.
As far as I'm concerned as long as he's fighting top names twice a year and there's no one challenger that obviously stands out from the rest I won't say he's ducking this or that. I think Andrade and Charlo would be tougher opponents for Canelo than BJS, Plant or Benavidez but that's just my 2 cents, not like it would be a consensus and everybody would demand him these fights and he's ducking if he doesn't fight them now. I think him trying to unify 168 is a good thing. Hope he fights Charlo and Andrade next year though.
Iirc about Andrade he said "he's boring" which is another way to say high risk low reward, that's not a good look and the only fighter I can recall that Canelo expressed he's not keen to face. Hope it still happens, Andrade has the right to challenge for the 168 WBO anytime, I was a bit pissed he couldn't get ahead of the Canelo vs BJS fight cause he'd have beaten BJS and Canelo would face him now then. I'd favor Canelo to beat everyone 160-168 now but that would have been a more interesting fight than Canelo vs BJS.

Andrade also said he didn't wanna fight Lara cause he was "boring".....So I guess that's just karma. Lara was calling him out every week at that time. Canelo said he wants to unify the division so Charlo and Andrade are wasting their time calling him out, he won't fight them.
After he unifies and puts the beats on Caleb, his first defense will be against Benavidez so they'll be waiting a long time
They should have moved up and tried to get one of the other belts before Canelo. Then he would've been forced to fight them to get the belt.
If they want to be a priority, they should fight each other or GGG, but they won't do that for obvious reasons.
