Canelo is protected. He was a golden goose since he was like 15 years old. That doesnt mean he isnt good or better than Charlo. that means every single fight has to make sense as in reward>>>greater than risk. dont @ me if you dont know shyt about boxing. no man is afraid of the other but at the same time, fighters and their team of advisors/managers/promoters duck fighters everyday. this is because boxing has become more of a business than a sport. its always been a business but the farther back you go there were less politics, and even then you had mob involved and fights being thrown.

do yall know who Mike McCallum is? call it what you want, but SRL, Hagler, Hearns, Duran, etc....NO ONE would fight this man. this man was 154, 160, and 175lb champion. yeah he fought Toney and Jones but thats because those guys were in his division and never reached the status of the aforementioned legends...or at least by the time RJJ had, McCallum was long in the tooth.

if you can tell us a legitimate reason why none of those guys would fight McCallum, then Canelo gets a pass for that same exact reason.

props to Canelo for fighting GGG but if you look back on my posts, I always said he was overrated and I always picked Canelo to beat him. not once did I say I thought GGG would win. but again, props to fighting the "boogie man" but the rest of them guys is bozos. outside of GGG the only fighter Canelo faced as good as Charlo was Floyd.

I really don't understand how we're talking down on the better, more accomplished fighter with probably the best resume in the sport outside of Pacquiao, and not on the fighter who has talked the most sh!t, taken the easier fights, not fought a legit champion nor possess ONE notable win. some may say Devychencko but who knows how much of that is the result of ppl saying Devychencko beat GGG and what not. never heard ppl rating him before that
Either way all this Charlo shyt is online only. neither twin seems to have much of a fan base in real life. From BOTH an accomplishment perspective and a business perspective it doesn't make a ton of sense to fight Jermall Charlo. He ain't accomplish shyt and can't even produce a 100k buy ppv as part of a stacked double header

At the most you can say Canelo avoided Mall (both been at 154 and 160 at the same time) but its hard to say Canelo straight ducked him. Mall never really made a case for why he's the biggest fight Canelo should take. That's why I suggest he move up to 168 and ko Jacobs. At least that can get the needle moving.

how am I talking down on Canelo and not Charlo? you have to have PROOF that Charlo has refused to fight Canelo. stick to the thread topic please. other than that, you cant give a valid reason why Canelo shouldnt fight him if there is no one else better available. regardless of what you think Charlo has/hasnt done, if there isnt another GGG fight on the table then drop a name right now that is a better opponent for Canelo than Charlo.
