I can aim fine both ways, holding it sideways and still use the sights
Dunno bout using the sights. Holding gun sideways throws off the balance of the gun or center of gravity thus making you less accurate at longer ranges. I think that sideways position is effective at close range like for stickups or threatening a nikka during a "nikka moment"

I've played with it at my local range, The owners dont want you doing it at their range (it's indoors) , but no one can see you in the lane. They have a camera in the room but not facing the lanes
