I remember in real time more people saying Beans won than Kiss won. It was a pretty divisive topic though.

Originally everyone tried to give this battle a pass.
When you could hear both sides were getting help.
Plus I was the original review guy who said rhey both were cheating and it lead to a spectacle to just save face for both crews. Where it was no criteria to say who won. As both sides cheated to have a good showing.

I think there are different levels to sharing bars. If Rae and Ghost are going back and forth bar to bar (think: Right Back At You) it makes perfect sense that someone may have said ayo say this instead. That's just songwriting and collaboration. Styles and Jada have a lot of songs like that, so I'm sure they've "shared" bars in THAT context. But outright saying Jada had help on solo tracks he did going at Beans is too much for me. At best somebody shouted out some bars in the studio but....that happened in every studio session at that time.

In terms of the beef? This was the hardest shyt that came out by far IMO:

Beans clearly won. Rap fans (especially online) tend to judge rappers based on who they are as people and not only based on skills. The only reason people make this close is cause Jada is very respected as a person. But if u be objective and judge on skills beans won clear.

Also in general I think Jada got better songs but skill wise beans is better than him
