I had wanted to get some turntables for a long long time so it was a good present to me.

For whatever reason I got like 3k when I graduated high school. People that I've never seen sent me checks.

naw....family was broke, and I dont really have a relationship with my extended family outside of one cousin. Then again, none of my boys got broke off with anything serious so I didnt feel slighted.

I didn't get it when I graduated but I consider them graduation gifts. Since my birthday was in June it was like I got everything all together. I didn't get much but a gift certificate for a restaurant from my church, I ate a graduation dinner at Red Lobster, then on my birthday I got a car. It wasn't brand new but it was a car for me to get to college with. I can't complain, I was very, very happy.

Some of u guys are lucky to have gotten money from relatives and all that. I didn't get anything from my extended family, just the turntables my parents got me.

It was good enough for me tho, I was happy about it.
