Pick it up! This game doesn't nearly get the attention and respect it deserves. Everyone is hooked on recycled FPS so this game gets overlooked. Diablo is addictive with tons of replay content. 4 player local co-op is a blast too.

I have this game on PC. The game is just a big grind. It’s not fun at all. After beating the same campaign over and over again, shyt gets old.

Hmm. Well when Skyrim released on Switch I was upset that shyt costs $60 for being such an old game but later on I bit the bullet and bought it and didn't think about the cost afterwards.

About local multiplayer...let's say I'm at work and shyt and my coworkers wanna play. Do they create their own character or choose from preselected ones? Or do I have to create the characters for them to choose...

Or will it be like fukking Rocket League that requires you to create a separate user account for each additional player. I know you don't know the answer to that last one...mostly rhetorical until more details come out later.

Diablo 3 is one of the goat co-op games of these recent generations and it makes perfect sense to be on the Switch.
The game is definitely a grind fest for loot but that's the way most of these games are.

Sidenote: I imagine this game is going to have some serious performance issues given how incredibly busy the screen gets in this game especially at the higher levels.
We'll see if they did a good job optimizing it for the Switch though.

Good question so I did some research.

Diablo 3 came out for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The Xbox 360 version looks better than the PS3 version because it only has 10 FPS frame rate drop from 60 FPS and less screen tearing compared to the PlayStation 3 version. Both the PS3 and 360 versions runs at a native 1120x584. Since the Switch is more comparable to a lower clocked Xbox One than the 360, it’s safe to say that the resolution will be a little higher and the frame rate should be more solid than the 360 version.
