You kind of proved my point, there are a lot of wr that can play at an elite level, but very few corners to stop them. There is no such thing as a shutdown corner in todays NFL, they all get burned eventually. But if i was starting a team from scratch and i had a choice between dez and norman, im picking Norman everytime. Just my opinion, as an outsider, neither a redskin or cowboys fan . He's not deion or revis but he is a legit number 1 corner in 2016.

All of the dbs you listed also play with other really good dbs and pass rushers. Is Sherman as good without thomas/chancellor, harris without ward/talib/roby, patterson without honey badger? Norman was probably the best cb in football last year when he had an elite front seven. Nothing wrong with being a system player when the system works. Sherman is perfect example.

They are the same level in their field. Both are physical, not overly fast, hyper competitive, top 10 guys.

I guess you haven't heard the name Breeland? Or that rookie Dunbar? Because 90% of that garage your talking went on them. ODB and AJ Green had about 70 yards each no tds but if you call that bake then ok.

In all fairness those plays were not on Josh Norman the most part. Even when they announce stats during games, they say that Dez only 2 for 12 or something like that on Josh Norman. Football really isn't played like that, you can't just pull up stats and say that he destroyed the corner without seeing who was covering him.

Norman is definitely a really, really good corner in today's NFL. Smart, physical, athletic. You can hate him or what he stands for, but there ain't no such thing as a system corner that plays like Josh Norman lol. He is def in that top tier in 2016.

I actually find it surprising sometimes when people bring up Joe Haden, because he does actually get torched very often. And I felt that way about Pat Peterson as well, even though he was/is my favorite.
