MVP is a narrative-based award, not a direct reflection on performance/ability - if he didn't have the machine behind him in '05 and '06 his performances during those respective seasons would still be as they are. You keep claiming that you don't fukk with stats (*cue paradox of hanging your argument on Harden's #s*), but in turn, you fall victim to casual fan talking points. His impact was on the same arc with his play from Dallas to Phoenix (leading the #1 ranked offense in Dallas for three straight seasons + multiple 18 ppg seasons), the only difference was he took more control of the offense when going to the Suns parlayed with calibrating his skillset.

For argument's sake, even if Booker's skillset isn't as extensive, he still has shown he can score at a greater rate:

Booker - 25 ppg on 50 eFG%, 56 TS%
Mitchell - 20 ppg on 50 eFG%, 52 TS%

You claim that he's just a "chucker", yet he's actually more efficient than Mitchell, while averaging five more points. Go figure.

Now onto his skillset: he's a better shooter in almost every situation (P&R, spot-up, off-screen/off-ball), on every spot on the floor (3-pt, elbows/midrange, corners); has a reputable post-game (in fact, he was one of the best guards on post-ups last season, whereas Mitchell's is nonexistent), and better footwork/ball-handling to create space. The only advantages Mitchell has is on the drive / finishing in traffic, otherwise, Booker has him beat in nearly every other area.

To say he's "kinda basic with his buckets" is a clear sign you aren't paying enough attention. He's got the most advanced scoring game out of any young guard in the league. There's a reason why he's been compared to a young Kobe on the regular.

so with nash the coaching & team change was the difference he was a great pointgawd paired with the right platform for all his talents to flourish & that was the difference in him being just an all-star vs mvp¿

that applies to chef as well like i said i never called these cats booboo or nothing of the sort

i respect that different people digest the game differently you get into analytics & details thats cool

the way i view it & talk about it is the way most hoopers pros vets do it's a natural visceral perspective on it

so duppy vs. spida or any other convo on hoopers is less of a focus on detailed numbers & more like cats discussing their preference in artists

i will admit i don't pay attention to the game on that analytics level but that's most people right down to the pro hoopers don't you in a group of weirdos containing cats who coach & casual statwhores & nerds

you should probably be trying to get paid for the amount of work you put into digging into that nerd #/% shyte jahahahahaa

i just see a more athletic more creative more fluid offensive bagg when it comes to spida vs duppy to me is like a turned up gun-slinging klay very precise straight to it

so it's a combination of saluting bro for flourishing under pressure & just saying that boy got a lotta flair/style to his game that i appreciate

it's a matter of a e s t h e t i c s word to mamba

you done blowing smoke or will this be an everlasting saga¿

Why pretend like you know what you're talking about when it's blatantly obvious you didn't watch the league back then?

You have absolutely no idea of what you're talking about when it comes to Steph, you prove that every time you put his name in your post box.

I gave you a general view of their scoring numbers - there was nothing detailed about them. You're entering Swagnificent territory, where any numbers are met with some bullshyt ass but I think like the players lining because you're too lazy and ignorant to defend your opinion with actual evidence. It's the same line of thought that conspiracy theorists work under. Most of the time anyone that uses that bullshyt ass " i view it & talk about it is the way most hoopers pros vets do" logic when discussing the game doesn't know shyt about it. You said he's "kinda basic with his buckets" that tells me straight away you haven't even watched Suns games on the regular. And if you have, well it's even more proof you don't understand the game.

Booker scores on a greater level (while being more efficient) and has a more extensive scoring skillset: catch-and-shoot/off-the-ball, shooting off the dribble from all over the floor, post-scoring etc. Arguing otherwise is only telling on yourself. That's all there is to it.
