Most posters in HL, and this website are black. Generally speaking, that would also mean that they vote Democratic or, at the very least, do NOT vote Republican.

So pay devil's advocate for a minute.

What does the Republican Party have to do to get you, as a black voter, to support them?

1. Stop trying to repeal the Affordable Healthcare Act and accept that it is law of the land that will serve some benefit and rather focus on creating and implementing ideas to make it better.

2. Walk away from the myth that the rich need tax cuts in order to create jobs and invest in the U.S economy.

3. Advocate personal liberty and reject the Christian right-wing rhetoric and vitriol that violates personal liberty. (i.e. reproductive rights, gay marriage, marijuana legalization).

4. Reshape their position on Foreign Policy by trying not to be so adamantly involved in every single foreign issue or always wanting to use war as a means to resolve foreign conflict.

5. Reshape their views and policies on public education and funding for schools.

6. Stop being so obtuse when facing issues pertaining to lower income families, minorities, and women.
