I run about 4 miles in 30 mins and I run at least 3 times a wk. I just started running again after not having run for years. It took a couple months to get my timing back, but I feel good running again

Salute to this thread!
That's my goal. I wanna hit 4 miles in 28 minutes.

It's amazing how I look forward to these run sessions now compared to a few weeks ago. Knocked out 2.3 miles last night.

Let Us Know What U Think Breh

Dog, these things is :lawd:

Before I would feel a very slight pain towards the end of my run but the real pain would come when I got finished. Just touching my shins would have me :sadbron:

Tonight ran 22 mins at 10/mile pace. No pain at all even after I finished. I am a believer.

I've started and stopped the C25K twice. I started up again today. I got 2 miles in the 30 minute workout. I think I'm pushing too hard in the first few intervals. I'm having issues regulating pace so I can maintain same speed throughout. I stopped running 5 secs or so short on the last few run intervals.

Any methods to regulate breathing and pace for a beginner (ain't shyt) runner?

What works for me is to match my pace to my breathing. When my left foot hits the ground I breathe in, when it hits again I breathe out.

Just focus on completing the workouts for now. Don't worry about your distance, that'll catch up eventually.

This is the 3rd or 4th I've done the C25K as well, but the 1st time I've kept with it this long. I think in November I'm going to try the 5K210K program.
