My wife is from the D. This is a good thing. There's a lot of good, hardworking black folk struggling out there due to lack of real opportunities.
Plus, Detroit is too large geographically to provide quality public services to its spread out citizens given the current tax base.
Hopefully the growth trend continues and picks up.

Not at all. It's backwards to want non-blacks taking over the city and lording over blacks like they do everywhere else. We see what happens in places like California-- blacks are bottom-feeding bums out there.
