Good to hear not surprising. Everything happens in cycles. I have never heard positive about Detroit. Me and my friends used to joke that the only two places where there was a unanimous consensus shytty opinion of the place were Detroit and Baltimore.

No matter how bad a place is it will become attractive and no matter how attractive a place seems, it will become overhyped , bid up expensive (CA) and then people will emigrate from that place to places like Detroit, Raleigh, bunch of counties in TX and FL experience pop growth.
