If anything, I'd probably see a Jones/Weidman superfight happening before any other one. Unlike most of the other suggested, those two are actually very close in size when not training. Plus, I don't doubt that Weidman could fight at 205 without too much difficulty (even though some of his wrestling tricks probably wouldn't work at that weight class). If, say, MMA gets sanctioned in New York State any time soon, I don't doubt that Silva and Dana would put a lot of thought into putting on a Jones/Weidman superfight in New York City.

Jones is making the argument for GOAT more difficult . All he has to do if defeat the winner of Gus vs Rumble and he stands alone as the greatest LHW in MMA history. I personally feel he owns that distinction as GOAT LHW now.

Yep, gotta give him props & realize his greatness & yes your comparison to floyd is spot on but the floyd hate is way stronger at this point. Gus may have a chance if they fight again but gus has a lot of cardio problems & honestly his cardio cost him the belt the first time. It won't happen in 2015 but maybe in '16 he can move up to HW because honestly from a viewership standpoint I don't wanna see jones fight anyone in else in his division after the gus rematch.

Rumble is only getting better and learning ( just like each fighter)
Plus will be at a less reach disadvantage than most of jones opponents.
Plus one of the only ways you can probably beat Jones is - knock him out 1 or 2 punches and Rumble can do that.
but in light heavy weight, I'm only a fan of Jon Jones aka the pfp #1, and #1 LHW of all time. #2 best fighter of all time (or #3)
