Went to see it opening weekend with a sister and a friend.
Loved it. There were definitely some problems and things that they'll need to improve should they move forward with the sequel, but for a first outing, it was great.

I do wonder how Detective Pikachu would have done had it not come out in the middle of Endgame's reign. I thought the marketing was on point and WOM has been mostly positive.

Avengers is sucking all the air out of the room and will likely continue to do so for at least another couple weeks. shyt might even cut into Aladdin's box office.I caught a Detective Pikachu in Pokemon Goso far the word of mouth has been good by everybody I've talked to that has seen it. Idk if that Avengers hype will die down tho. At least we could get another one with more risk. Either way you cant go wrong with how many pokemon there are that we care to see. Got damn ya man Ditto tho. That shyt I didnt see coming. I legit got hype from that lmao
