JUST HAS A SLOWER RELEASE.
Shooting isn't the only aspect of offense though. McDermott is a better ball handler, passer, driver, mid-range game... and he'll be getting to the line. Buckets is also better on the glass.

he can put the ball on the floor which is something I have NEVER seen korver do effectively.
Korver is one of the greatest shooters of all time though
the rest of Doug's game would really have to come together for him to eclipse what Korver does

and even with all that being said, we failed to use him effectively most of the time anyways.

He's an elite shooter, we all know that. But he's not better than McBuckets at scoring, period.
I don't know what games yal been watching, but when he's got some decent minutes and gotten into a groove he's looked damn good.
And last night he had 12 points in under 12 minutes. Show me some plays in Korvers long career where he's doing more than catching and shooting off of a pick that compares to what we've seen from McBuckets through 4 games?

The problem was... he wasn't giving you anything if his shot wasn't on. And in the playoffs his shot was broke and Bogans was shooting a higher percentage from 3 than he was.
At least with Doug we know that if he's not open when he comes off a pick that he'll be able to do something other than pass it right back to whoever gave it to him.
@GoldenGlove I agree that Doug will be a much more well rounded scorer than Korver

His shot is almost always on though , hes one of the most consistent shooters ever

His shot wasn't on in that Heat series, you know... the most important one that he played in while in a Bulls uniform

Korver is a elite shooter but because of his inability to put the ball on tie floor he was always too easy to take out of the game and teams always limited how effective he could be.
Doug has a higher ceiling . he has more skillset.
But he too young and we need to win it all now. Cleveland will be a monster next season. And with what we currently have hard to see us getting past whoever coming out west.
