As long as we don't have that wing depth kirk is going to get those minutes

Even picking up a cheap guy is going to keep kirk on the floor

Only thing that takes kirk off the floor is getting a dynamic quality wing who can relieve jimmy and play some back up 2, even better if he starter quality .

But we know team #dontdoshyt and #wehaveenough not going to go get that wing. They still thinking doug and snell will play some significant role in a championship run. Might as well get used to kirk brehs.

I've been reduced to box score watching (I'll get my tape delay on tonight), but I see Niko had himself a hell of a game and it shows M. Gasol played limited minutes in the 4th and Randolph minutes at 0 in the 4th. I'm not seeing anything about them leaving the game with an injury, so I guess Niko was a match-up problem out there for them (6-6 from 3).

Enough speculation. I'll just leave this article here dating back to 2012 and be on my way :sas1:

Nikola Mirotic really impresses Zach Randolph

Real Madrid fell 105-93, but Mirotic finished with a solid 14 points and seven boards in 28 minutes. Bulls.com's Sam Smith was on hand to take in the action, and based on this nearly 2,000 word love fest, he and one particular Grizzly came away mighty impressed.
That particular Grizzly would be the rotund but talented Zach Randolph, who had the pleasure of going up against Mirotic for a good chunk of the night. Based on Randolph's own words and Sam's stirring play-by-play, it appears that Mirotic more than held his own:

"I was just asking Marc (Gasol) about him," Randolph was saying after the game when I caught up with him in the Grizzlies locker room in a sort of a Butch and Sundance "Who was that guy?" tone.


"I like him," Randolph said. "I told Marc he can shoot the ball. I was asking how old he was. He's just 21. The kid's got a real upside. He can play in the NBA."

Why didn't Randolph play any of the 4th? He seemed to be having a sub par game offensively, but he wasn't in any foul trouble, and the game seemed tight enough to warrant him being out there at least some of the 4th like Marc was.
