the signs are there, Bungie partner with battle.net owned by blizzard
... plus Blizzard helped Bungie with TTK. i will 100% not be surprised when they announce events in both destiny and Overwatch to get some cosmetic outfits

destiny is one of the first true shooter/mmo/action/etc hybrid games for a console that was successful...so going forward, games that try a mix like that, will be following destiny's blueprint...
exs: division.....copied so much, it even copied it down to leveling of the gear (green, blue, purple, yellow)....and based off the early info, what do you think anthem gonna be? a 3rd person destiny like game...
also, from the beta, you can tell this game is set up to really make a run at esports/leagues, and become a major player...by that i mean having reg sponsored tourneys, both console and pc...
like i said: people can deny it, but the destiny franchise is gonna be remembered as game changing, especially this gen...cats can either get down or lay down, but the train aint gonna stop no time soon....

to follow up about the midnight release and having it at best buy: went on their website and saw they have a digital bundle that has the game & expansion for $90 (which saves like $20 off both separately)....so i called and asked if i got that, would i be able to play at midnight?....she said yea....so even though i wanted the limited edition, which was sold out in like an hour at gamestop & is not gonna get restocked, i'm just cop that...
not only that, if you pre-order at best buy, you get a $10 certificate....and if you have gamer's club (shout out to @Kamikaze Revy ), that knocks another 20% off the price....so instead of it being $90, you pretty much gonna get the game & expansion pass for like $70 something....hell, use the $10 certificate, it's down to $60 something....

Gamers Club is only off of physical though.
As much as I wanna run on opening night I might just do digital regardless, esp since it's a game I'll get my money's worth out of. By the time I want to trade it in or sell it, it won't be worth shyt anyway.
I remember trying to trade in a Destiny 1 disc from my son's PS4 to best Buy......them nikkaz told me with a straight face .....25 cents.

@Rekkapryde i think going digital is the best way to go.. Destiny 2 is going to require you to have 68gb of free space just to download.... and recently i decide to re download destiny 1 and that shyt is 34GB and its still downloading... i rather pre load the game.. because if you have to sit thought a 68gb download Day 1, you're most likely not playing day 1
I recently redownloaded D1 myself (I bought it digital, my son's PS4 came with the physical). It didn't take me too long, but still I'm sure you'll be able to preload D2. For the amount of hours I'm sure I'll get out of it, I'll probably do the digital best buy thing to get the 10 dollar gift certicate.
