Game is decent so far, a lot of what was expected is still the same but gameplay seems a lot slower in pvp and pve. Don't know how I feel about that and the two primary get up
What was wrong with the weapons system in the first game
I think they hit the panic button on tryin to "balance" special weapons in pvp from d1 and this is the result. The system was good as it was. All they had to do was what they did towards the end of destiny 1's life cycle and lower the amount of special you get, 1 clip and if you die you lose it
Gunplay is good but somethin is off with the hit registration, it's a little iffy but I'll attribute that to it bein in beta testing
You can see blizzards influence with how theyre tryin to make this some type of team oriented shooter on the pvp side, I outright don't like that shyt. It's damn near impossible to win 2v1 even if you get the drop on both players.
We'll see how this plays out.

bladedancer was OP the moment that shyt dropped. between the armor stretching ttk, blink strike proccing backstab from the front, and blink being unstoppable - they were rocking people day one

it was not like that in the beta....those things didnt get noticed till the full game dropped, that's when it became king
as for arcstrider not having those: true, it doesnt, and that's a good thing....but that doesnt mean it's as weak as you trying to make it seem....when the full game drops, we'll see....
There was no bladedancer in the Destiny 1 beta

They nerfed the entirety of the game for the sake of competitive

Now I'm sure that some of the issues are just from the restrictions of a beta and not having mods on the armor/artifacts but the ability cooldowns are waaaaay to slow, it should not take a minute for me to get my grenade back. Barely use more than 2 supers a strike and if you not farming you could go an entire game in PvP without a using a super.
The best of D1 outside of gunplay was the player movement but now every jump feels like I'm prancing around like a fairy.
Weapons seem cool considering there is no additional mods to them for the time being. Feels like you're getting hit by a Mack truck everytime someone shoots at you tho.
This franchise is definitely one of my favorites of all time and I think the main game (and DLCs
) will be great, phenomenal even but I don't see myself putting D1 hrs into this

I got weasel'd more times in the 2-3 hrs I played yesterday than the last 3 years I played Destiny. Easily.
which further proves my point...people were complaining about shyt they hadnt even played...they were just looking at names of abilities, and saying it was gonna be weak, and yet, we see how that shyt changed when the game dropped....
the difference now is people are getting hands on with the arcstrider....and you are in the minority with it being called weak....
