You can disagree but I’ve experienced these bugs. How long did it take last season for the overload grenades to get fixed? Text chat being able to disconnect people from the game? I’m not complaining about a server queue on day 1. But with more frequent patches, we’re getting more bugs.
I agree with u bugs every goddamn season...the only bugs they seem to fix or disable are ones that are benefit to players..buggy dungeons the wellspring , duality is still buggy, certain strikes still buggy, at least one new exotic comes in buggy like caliban last season, this season is the titan..i can keep going ohh and the new seasonal activity does not drop a pinnacle when it should.

who even uses text chat like that :dead: and the overload stuff didn't wall off content or anything close either

im all about gripes with something gamebreaking, but its quickly turning into people not even realizing that bungie course corrects faster than just about every other live service game outside of league of legends these days

more frequent patches = more bugs is a hell of a take

The bug was was game breaking, you could boot people back to orbit. Irregardless if it’s popular, it was bugged. If you put something out, it’s allowed to get critiqued. It’s not a hot take, you can put a fix for one thing and it can break two other things. How many times was Telesto bugged?

“It’s going to get fixed in later” is weak when you’ve paid well over price of the boxed copy.

you're not losing your entire inventory or getting DDOS'd to the point you can't even log in, you're restarting an activity. destiny players don't even know what a real gamebreaking bug looks like anymore

and if telesto of all things is at the front of your mind regarding past issues and not the account rollback situation that happened then lol...

Let’s agree to disagree because I feel if your gameplay is being manipulated by an exploit that can be replicated, that’s a game breaking. There are levels of severity but they fall under the same umbrella. If this exploit was in any other game, i feel that community would agree too.

this game is just alot... the thing is i'm not even a new player, just extremely casual. everytime i hop into a new expansion there's just awhole lot of nonsense on my screen. you got the ghost saying some bullshyt, and im just hopping around from place to place. where are the recaps? whatever.. i still feel like this game has the BEST gunplay of any first person shooter out right now, so i deal with it... but i really can't wait for a full reset.

Best thing to do to reacquaint yourself after a break is to either link up with Sherpas/Friends that will update you to the meta and new shyt or just run the Vanguard playlist to try the new weapons/abilities/mods out and see what you like before going into the harder content

If I haven’t played this shyt in over 4 years is it worth even trying to get back into or should I just wait for Destiny 3 or whatever? :francis:

Game is the best it’s been in years right now and constantly improving. I’d say jump in, but casually to see what you like and build up from there

Jumping back into strikes and basic bounties is simple enough to get back into the gameplay loop, but I’d watch one of those 20min New Player/New Season guides to bring you up to speed

Don’t try to learn everything all at once, but just play and slowly gain more of an understanding of crafting, weapon perks, upgrades, etc. it is a lot to take in but you’ll get it slowly over time

For the past few seasons I always start hella late like when all the “weekly” seasonal campaign missions are all out so I can just play straight through them. I always need a quick refresher on everything but my old gear is still good for the most part and all the extra resources from the prior season get used for whatever I’m doing in the new one.

One of my favorite things about destiny is that it’s always there waiting for you. I can not play for 4-5 months and my favorite weapons and armor are all still strong and useable, while still giving me incentive to level it up for the current season along with collecting new shyt

Thanks for the advice. I started doing Vanguard and will pick a day to watch some content videos in order to get back to speed. This season seems pretty fun and I always try the Halloween content.

Also worth getting your level up and hitting legendary lost sectors to get the exotics you don't have.
