Freelance trials is fun for the fukkkery but if you legit trying to go flawless, you damn near always have to go on lfg. Around like game 4-5 you’ll start always getting nikkas on your team who play like they’ll using a cellphone as a controller and shyt but idc because I just mess around in freelance.
Perfect example why they’ll never be matchmaking for high level end game shyt, too many trash ass players for that. You always better using the apps lfg
Edit: unless there’s a barrier / minimum for entry because freelance trials gets much much better once your playing in the flawless pool and everyone there’s at least flawless.
Idk how’d they implement it in other activities tho

And that’s the problem that’s here with new / inexperienced players. Most people don’t want to deal with them on their team because you guaranteed to get washed but they have to go somewhere. There needs to be a newish player only pool for shyt but cats would just abuse it too so idk

Pretty much or clan..i lost my first match in freelance then won 7 in a row....of course i was on the wealth pass
Freelance its only for grinding emgrams...because if u suck ur still gonna suck on freelance..bad habits wont stop on freelance
When it comes to new players i feel bad because bungie clearly doesnt care enough. Today some 1193 power guy invited me..am thinking hey maybe he wants my help on a strike , come to find out dude sends us to vault of glass
I would have helped with first encounter but he kept getting one shot

the flawless pool for freelance is nice tho, got some great randos went flawless again twice and almost another time.
got 6 adept reed regrets. Two I’m keeping are clown cartridge / firing line and heating up / adagio.
Got every good adept weapon roll from trials, just fukking around at this point.
Got to 6 wins once. Gave up on Trials. You either have to have a regular team, or be extremely good, or extremely lucky. I am none of those.

expansion looks fire..for u nikkas that dont raid the first 3 months or so will be perfect time for this new one. since lfg and groups in general are wayyyyy more patient with people who dont know than 6 months or a year later.

Paraversal hauls from the anniversary pack allow you to stack like bounties too. Unless they change this before WQ, the blue gear drops should bring gear level up
