Got all of the Ikelos weapons and armor for both my Titan and Warlock with only 28 boss clears in Escalation Protocol. RNgesus blessed a breh

One breh in a lobby I was in said he spent a full day 40+ runs and still couldn't get the shotty or smg

I used to play thie first one heavily but quit after the first DLC. The have the game with expansions for $38 now. Am i too far gone? Or can i come back from the dead.

Anyone interested in getting the easy clan weekly rewards..Crucible, NightFall etc?

I feel like I could be 385 already if we were getting clan rewards.

Fired it up and ran through the DLC with my hunter then played some IB and hit some of the weekly shyt.

I enjoyed the IB.
Heroic strikes were a pain with randoms.

I started leveling up my titan and realized the story has no replay value and feels like a chore.

and the way the grind is built.... i'm in no mood to play catch up - especially before another huge year 1/2 transition

i still got ascendant shards and etheric light on my D1 account

After you complete the story I feel like you should be able to reach max levels and light by doing activities and crucible.

Or at the least not force you to run through each smaller mission and just have to best the boss missions.

Finally hit 385 on all the characters. One last of EP gear next week on my titan and I'm pretty much done with this.

played this today because the secret quest for the new black spindle (whisper of the worm) blew up all over the internet. Just got mine

now i need to run the heroic version to get the catalyst.

I forgot how fun Destiny can be. This franchise needs more secret missions and powerful loot like this, and shyt that's exclusive and hard to get.

This mission was a bytch. And waiting for the proper public event to roll around was even worse. My fireteam beat it with 9 seconds left on the clock

took 2 tries.

the hardest part is sitting around IO waiting for the event to trigger. we literally sat there for 50+ minutes, and whenever there was a public event it would be a cabal public event after a cabal public event.

we went in with 3 hunters, 2 nightstalkers with orpheus rig and an arcstrider with raiden flux for add clearing. 2 of us were running RiskRunner for energy weapon. for heavies we had 2 Escalation Protocol shotguns and a Tractor Cannon.

when we got to the final room, we cleared the right side and then just prioritized downing the bosses

Same. The first group I went in with, we got tripped up on the jumping puzzle. As long as your team is above 380 and get through the puzzle it shouldn't be too hard. I have to add that the music for this section is probably the best Destiny has sounded. It's really an epic ride for the entire 20 minutes.
