It would destroy the grind, create a secondary market they don't profit from, and people would get bored of the game even faster.
Wrong... A trading system would up the price of everything and create new profits because nobody would have in game currency they will be too busy spending it.

This whole game is wrong. Exotics should drop from raids only and trials of the nine flawless runs. In other games when you do a raid, only like 1 or 2 people get a drop...Destiny gives everyone a drop so there's no real reason to go back..

I hit the max level without doing the raid... shyt is borderline retarded.. The weekly milestones take like 30 minutes each so there's really no challenge in the game. I liked og destiny 6v6 PVP. Too bad I preordered the game with all the DLC already probably would stop playing. I don't even think Xur should sell exotics and if he did it should cost 1000 legendary marks each item..

team shotting has more to do with the map design and lack of snipers than anything else. guys never posted up with midas in an alley before because sniper rifles demanded respect constantly. (too much at times, but that's a different argument). the lack of grenades being up often enough or powerful enough to keep people out of powerful positions is also extremely hampered as well.

6 v 6 would only create bigger team shotting issues with the way the game is constructed. i don't think you can just boil it down to 6v6 > 4v4 is all i'm saying. D2's issues in pvp are much farther reaching than that.

all of the maps outside of the new ones for CoO feel like they were made for D1 gunplay as well.
In og destiny they sold legendary weapons for 150 legendary marks. In destiny 2 you can get an exotic for 23 legendary marks.. You see where I'm going here?
OG destiny also had a weekly cap on marks, the economy was wildly different. also, weapon rolls and weapon xp meant that people weren't immediately throwing every single purp they didn't like into the bushes right away.

A big part of the issue with the economy is that everything is worthless and a diceroll at the same time. You can't assign value to any currency the game gives you.

d1 pvp was chaos that sometimes happened to be fun. at the same time, trying to balance d1 pvp is what bled through to d2 and is pretty much the reason why everything was mellowed out to this uninteresting simmer its at now

i think the best d1 pvp ever was was right after the april update, and that only lasted for a few months before a new meta settled in. its like people don't remember the ridiculous burn that sunsingers had, thorn two tapping people from across the map, last word snipers, blink shotgun, front backstabbing, hopscotch pilgrim only, NLB before the nerfs, etc. then came the trials shyt which basically led to bungie balancing the entire game around what a fraction of its userbase even wanted to play.

lets say you bring in 6 v 6 on the maps we have now - spawns are still broken so weighting them with more players only deadlocks maps even harder. supremacy would go from awful to legit unplayable. people would still get away just as fine because more positions are defended and the real cause of that, poor ability cooldown times, still exists. heavy becomes even more useless. etc. it doesn't actually 'fix' anything by itself. if anything, the end of rounds with 6 supers going off all at once is just gonna be the highlight of an extremely boring game. all i'm saying is, the entire 'team shot' thing could be fixed with sniper rifles being a special weapon and a hard nerf to what is essentially the stronger radar in FPSs right now. you can't flank effectively at all, you can't aggressively challenge long sight lines either - those issues don't get fixed by throwing more players at them

also, in regards to the economy i still don't think you're getting what i'm trying to say

d1 marks =/= d2 marks

d1 legendaries were randomly rolled loot and d2.... when's the last time you ever examined an armor drop?
also if you cap marks at 150, then the economy is flatly modeled over what you can spend 150 at most marks on for that week
d1 also had multiple resource outlets. d2 only has legendary marks for the most part - and its not like you can exchange those to build faction rep or use them to actually build an exotic, ammo synths, etc

the amount of marks isn't the issue. the entire economy of destiny went to shyt because they tried to streamline things without an actual plan or purpose. one look at mods clearly shows that

I deleted damn near every gun I got in d1. You got a god roll, everything else is trash.. Random rolls was the dumbest shyt of all time..

at least you looked at weapons though

there's no point in even glancing twice at entire weapon types in this game

you got a nameless midnight, you pretty much don't need anything else for pve ever in that slot unless you're trying to be different. random rolls were fine - huge roll pools with absolute trash perk possibilities was the issue there

can i get an smg with outlaw or zen moment? nope? cool i can literally delete every single smg now that i have one antiope d :ehh:

got sins of the past already? i never need to even look at another purple rocket or grenade launcher again :skip:

Just look at the Activision Blizzard business. I own a decent amount of it and I pay attention to what's going on. They want all games to become competitive because e sports can take them to the next level.. The reason there's no random rolls is for the playing field to be leveled. The reason every game mode is 4v4 is for e sports and nothing else.. They are banking on e sports..Team shots? E sports..

Over 2/3s of Destiny's community is PvE though. That's always been the draw. The 4 v 4 is actually balanced better than D1 ever was, its just less fun and less fun to watch. shyt, D2 FFA is probably gonna be great.... its just that this game was never for the PvP community and trying to play both sides of the fence with something like Destiny is never going to work.

That's what you think? Bungie, the guys who made halo is about PVE? SADLY mistaken. You can do all the PVE content in any destiny in one day.. Bungie all about that PVP.. They didn't nerf guys because PVE they nerfed them because PVP..
