I gotta say this DLC is weak as hell.
I was expecting a new world to explore with unique missions.
The new planet is pointless and I don't like how all of the new missions take place on the old planets that I was already getting tired of.
The new weapons are cool but nothing amazing overall.
IMO there isn't anything worth $35 in the DLC yet.
We beat the story portion of the DLC in about 2 hours.
The rest is additional weapons/armor/skins and the raid lair.
I still think Destiny 2 is one of my favorite games this gen. I'm just complaining a bit about how I expected much more from this expansion.

@Kamikaze Revy that Raid Lair shyt being 80% Super Mario Galaxy, 15% Pinball FX, 5% actual gun busting doesn't help.
That breakdown though. Bungie should give us an additional trophy just for having the sheer power of will to be able to stay awake through that mess.
I have to go back and beat the prestige raid now since bungie took away the trophy for the prestige nightfall and I procrastinated like crazy.
DLC was only $15 if you purchased it in advance. The PvP maps alone are worth $15. As for the raids I think they are going the MMO route with Lairs. This is how other games split the raid..
They release 1 part of the raid at a time.
This game should have p2p trading so you could buy items off people. Final fantasy has a auction house. shyt would work great in destiny

Yeah I would definitely like item trading.
There's been a few times I've run with someone that wanted a gun I had that I don't even use and I would have been more than happy to let them have it for nothing.
I don't get what the issue Bungie would have with that. Maybe they want to avoid missing out on possible micro transactions.

one thing that i don't see people mentioning a lot is that the mission design for CoO was mostly trash as hell. Outside of the strike mission, one adventure, and the public event - they took massive steps backwards in regards to PvE
like how the fukk does bungie of all studios put this out and say its fun? you can't spawn players overlooking roofless areas overlooking an entire group of enemies that can't fight back or allow you to just run past them free over and over again.
its crazy to me. also, those new pvp maps are probably the best in destiny ever. wormhaven in particular is one of the few maps that actually encourages destiny's brand of movement and engagement ranges. its like the people designing this game only talk to each other in the elevator

It would destroy the grind, create a secondary market they don't profit from, and people would get bored of the game even faster.
