While the core is the same, it's a lot more tolerable on PC. Crucible is way more fun though. DLC releases on the 5th of December on all platforms.

Things have slowed down substantially since a lot of us have hit 300+.
I still play from time to time but not as consistently.
I plan on getting my other 2 characters to 300+, beating the prestige night fall, and taking a break until the DLC drops.

I was bored late last night and checked out twitch and saw triple on and he was talking about the disappointment a lot of fans have for the game so I just came back in this thread to see what the coli was feeling towards it. I played too much Destiny 1 to the point that I don't even feel like entertaining D2

most of the people posting in this thread did not play destiny 1 as much as we did and understand the disappointment the end game is right now

I just went into the game with different expectations.
I went in treating the game like a single player game with some co-op sprinkled in. I didn't have this MMO idea in mind that the game should be repayable for the foreseeable future.
I got over 80 hours of fun out of this game. I can't complain, or nit pick the game to death comparing it to other games.
Far as the loot and leveling being easier (or more forgiving) than Destiny 1, I'm fine with it considering my attention span as a gamer these days.
I still game heavy, but I'm not interested in grinding for countless hours just to get marginal progress. The reason I put so much time into Destiny 2 is because every time I sit down with the game I get meaningful progress, and since this isn't strictly an RPG I'm fine with it. In the end, you can have all the great gear, if you aren't good, it isn't going to get you anywhere, especially in crucible where stats don't matter like that.
Like I said though, I came into with a different mentality, which I believe has helped me enjoy the game much more than if I would have expected something totally different.

I be trying to wait and play with the brehs but nobody shows up for "scheduled" runs and now everyone is kinda whatever on the game. I still log in often because all of my characters are 304 and I'm trying to get them to 305.
I hope the clan as whole becomes more active because right now it just seems like 80% of the clan is in it simply to get the clan rewards.
I figure that was going to be the case.
I blame it on the digital age. Consumers are consuming media much faster than ever before.
With gamers, something comes out and it's immediately a speed run to see who can finish the game and come back on some high brow " oh, you STILL havent beaten that game.
" freakin one week after release. That said, it's a little challenging with this game because once you get to that high level there's significantly less to do. I personally don't mind it too much since I feel I got my money's worth, but it's still something to consider.
