Roger Goodell has proven on numerous occasions that he will suspend players based off accusations. He doesn’t care if there isn’t any criminal charges

Breh there is no way watson comes to camp with 20 plus allegations (the way they piling on I wouldn't doubt its 60 plus allegations by august).

I wouldn't doubt they sit watson down for maybe the entire season. Just cause of the blow back and bad PR. This is gonna get nasty and how the league works they gonna try to get watson out the paint. Cause we all know with black players and specifically black QBs the teams and league does not protect them on or off the field.

Oh and don't forget them bull shyt NFL contracts are as worthless as shytty toilet tissue. Don't be surprised if they figure out a way to cut him and even get some of that signing bonus back.

Never ever be surprised how the NFL and all 32 racist plantation owners and they flunky hoe employee Roger Gooddell move.

If they do, hell get another $160 contract easy by more than half the league.

I guess we agree to disagree.

(Settling is an admission of guilt, and would allow women not associated to start their own suit to continue the misery settling is supposed to avoid. That’s why it’s stupid especially on these flimsy pretenses.)
How Courts Work

Settling Cases

Relatively few lawsuits ever go through the full range of procedures and all the way to trial. Most civil cases are settled by mutual agreement between the parties. A dispute can be settled even before a suit is filed. Once a suit is filed, it can be settled before the trial begins, during the trial, while the jury is deliberating, or even after a verdict is rendered.

A settlement doesn’t usually state that anyone was right or wrong in the case, nor does it have to settle the whole case. Part of a dispute can be settled, with the remaining issues left to be resolved by the judge or jury.

Criminal cases are not settled by the parties in quite the same way civil cases are. However, not every case goes to trial. The government may decide to dismiss a case, or be ordered to do so by a court. The defendant may decide to plead guilty, perhaps as a result of negotiations with the government that result in dismissing some of the charges or recommending leniency in sentencing. Plea bargains are a very important and efficient way to resolve criminal cases.

You settle to make sure no one hears about what happens. This is a civil matter, not a criminal matter. The difference is in a civil matter no one goes to jail. I can sue damn near anyone for a civil matter. A criminal matter is one that involves the government, like a District Attorney. You can go to jail if that happens.

Yeah john sally said he settled before and knew many players that do. Cause folks are lying but if they leak it to the media the damage can be worse.

You would think so. But we all know the league does not have a problem whiteballing black players.

He got all these allegations and more. He gets cut serves a suspension he getting whiteballed like Kap.

They knew about this. Him wanting to leave town was the perfect opportunity for them to get at him. The Texans won't defend him as hard.

damn...if the allegations are true then yeah it’s possible the texans buried this as long as they thought he’d stay with the team...damn...hope this shyt isn’t true smmfh

Said before in this thread. NFL security keeps taps on all players and many owners. If he was doing dirt they knew.

As mentioned before NFL security knew Vick was dog fighting.

I wouldn't doubt owners even hold dirt over players heads on some do as I say or this shyt getting leaked.

Truthfully it doesn't matter if he innocent or guilty this is a civil matter, its all about the money in these cases. It's easier to settle and pay, since he has money and fame he's becomes a bigger target. The damage of this coming out, will do more harm to his reputation, this will lead to him lose money in the long run. He's needs to hire a PR firm that deals with damage control in order to take the stink of him.
The only reason shyt like this works is because athletes are told to keep silent. If I'm famous, I know 100% that I'm innocent, I'm gonna mention it everytime a camera is in front of me.

I'd shyt on the lawyer and the bytches on a daily basis :yeshrug:.

Athletes keeping quiet allows speculation.
