This Watson case isn’t getting near the negative traction as you think it is because of everything that is going on. We are in an election year, the economy is down, and there’s sort of a #meToo fatigue. Zeke was at a different time and also there’s this general perception that these women were slinging p*ssy and are now looking for a come up. Whether that’s fair or not is something else. For example, that case just dropped over Memorial Day weekend and the NBA playoffs will start and no one will pay attention. Watson’s lawyer has done a good enough job of making people think it was an attack. He will of course be suspended but anyone who thinks that he’s missing years or that all these owners lined up without getting league insurance is a fool. The NFL still works for the owners.

That still doesn't shyt breh because at the end of the day Goodell and the NFL levy the decision and are in charge of the appeal. None of the other shyt matters as long as the NFL has final say so over the decision. Watson didn't step on the field last season, so of course he and the court case has been out of sight and out of mind. Also don't forget, that training camp hasn't even started yet, so why would he be the topic of discussion right now?
