Dumb trade.....knicks need to rock with quickly....thibs is in love with bringing in former players. Derrick can still hoop but he isnt going to make them a playoff team

I want derrick on a contender where he can try to get a ring not wasting his time with a rebuilding team

Hopefully he can go to one of the LA teams or Utah next year

he does for Thibs. Thibs is only concerned with getting his teams in the winning column. He is anti-tank. He wants to make the playoffs. I doubt Randle gets traded unless its for something worthwhile. this is a good deal for all parties.

Makes sense. Thibs don’t fukk around with playing for the future. All the jokes aside, it would be good for the NBA to have a competitive Knicks team

also people need to stop thinking rose cares about winning a title. HE DOESNT. Trading him to a contender was only happening if he felt comfortable there. The chairman of the Pistons is roses former agent, Rose always had a say in where he wanted to be. Its also no coincidence the only teams he has signed with are all cities close to chicago. Hes just happy to be playing. Either close to home or with thibs.

Plus Rose has come out & said how much he liked playing/being in NY.

I like the move, Rose gets to play for Thibs again (even though I would've preferred him playing on a contender) & DSJ gets to hopefully get his career back on track with the Pistons during their rebuild.

Blake is literally impossible to trade unless you get back a mid level player with 3 years left on the contract. At that point youre better off letting him walk after next season.

the only realistic offer i saw was blake for kelly o, iggy and another contract

Think they would rather have a young piece (Frank, Knox, or DSJ, and a 2nd round pick) instead of just Lou and a 2nd.

Only way they are getting off that Griffin contract is if they take on another bad contract in return plus attaching picks into the deal.
