Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I think it's a wrap for him, he'll have effectively missed 2 full seasons.

He will never be the same player, and his days as a superstar are completely done. I had optimism after his ACL tear that he could comeback to about the same level as before, but he looked absolutely terrible this year, and he's going to take yet another hit to his athleticism? It's not even like he had a great handle where he was shifty enough to break down people like Steph Curry, his handle itself relied on explosiveness and change of direction.

"Good thing Derrick got it reattached, its great for the long run"

He's about to be 26... his style of play doesn't translate in the long run. At what point does Derrick start thinking about now? It would make sense if he was 21-22 but he's near his prime. Can't continue that waiting game.

he just turned 25... so he has think about that 26-32 prime era.

yep, it's not that he goes hard into the paint, that herky jerky style is what does his knees no favors

Cant help but to feel sorry for Rose and to think that maybe he's finished as a superstar in the NBA. He's still pretty young but at the same time he's just as close to 30 as he is 20 so it's not like he is in the beginning of his career anymore. This is his prime years when he should be dominating and I can only hope that he can eventually get back to that level that he was once at. But this just seems like another Gilbert Arenas Brandon Roy Penny Hardaway situation. Though I hope I am wrong and that Rose will come back as good as ever.

That's why the Bulls need to stop building around him right now. Look at him as a potential good player or maybe even just a role player... they need to go after assets that will set them up going forward regardless of Rose.

Paying 20 mil for just a good player though...

Damn it's over. If it was all on one knee id be like ehhh but both them joints? Nah his explosiveness is done. I'm sure he can still be a nice player but I'd doubt very much a return to the level of greatness Chicago saw/expected.

He should of came back and he was soft for not at least trying...that has nothing to do with this. He's just injury probe he's always had injures for the most part.

Bulls need to rebuild and move any piece they don't view as a future piece now for cap and flexibility. Deng needs to go.

Even if the Bulls eventually have extra money/cap space, it's highly unlikely any current or future superstar type player will be checking for Chicago with Thibodeau as the head coach. So unless they get lucky with future draft picks or get a potential first round sensation via trade(s) Chicago is going to have a tough time rebuilding a championship quality team, especially with their inept owner & management.
