Nah..Simply not a blind stan.....If he wants to take 6 months to rehab that's fine......

But Russy had a lateral tear which is worse than the tear D Rose had....He had it surgically reattached and was back in 4 months....

Blake had the same type of medial tear in July and was ready for training camp 8-10 weeks later...

Yall can soak up the bullshyt if you wanna.......I aint got no problem with Rose taking as long as he wants to recover, but I got a feeling he aint truly happy in the Chi for whatever reason.
Well considering he is coming off an ACL tear I think the wisest decision would be take sit the rest of the year. Why throw him to the wolves at the end of the season? He isnt ready for playoff basketball.

I don't necessarily disagree.....Just comparing him to other examples.......

I still got a feeling he aint completely happy with Thibs and the Chi right now.....Just a hunch

Sad situation for rose.I feel like he's overrated but he seems like a good kid.Bulls front office now have no choice but to make some moves to upgrade this roster.Only a fool could truly believe this current roster was a title team

But we know any moves that are made will only be to get under that luxury tax :snoop:

Man, shut the fukk up. Derrick Rose just took a full SEASON to rest up. shyt happens, it's life.

Hell, D. Rose just got hurt less than twenty games in this time, and in the playoffs the time before, the 82 game schedule ain't have shyt to do with it.

Ask every player in the league if they feel a shortened season and more rest in between games would lead to a healthier and longer career.

Popovich chose to actually BENCH starters last year - much to the dismay of Stern - because of the ridiculous schedule. If you're trying to win a championship and you're thinking long term, why would you risk exposing key players to injury in a meaningless exhibition?

So you can have what just happened to Rose?

Ya'll are missing the point this is best for him LONG TERM ask dwade ask grant hill ask penny ask Brandon Roy for god sakes. If they could do it over they would have the surgery and sit out. Dwade told him to have them reattach it because of course you could come back sooner but down the road it will mess up your knee. I feel sorry for the bulls but at least the guy is thinking about his future and doing the proper things to have a LONG career.

he made the best decision for his future, do you even know what karma means?
It means he was selfish and concerned with his image. He didn't want to come back last year and struggle, even though he was fully capable of playing. Guess what happened? He came back playing like shyt this year and got injured anyway. This was karma.

Honestly, I think the ACL injury prepared him for this. He saw that he was able to come back from an ACL tear, so he'll see this as another obstacle that he can hurdle. I do agree with what someone said about knee braces restricting movement. I've never worn a knee brace in my LIFE, and I've never had bad knees. I know a lot of younger cats I hoop with have bad knees and they wear all that shyt. Back in the day, only centers with limited mobility wore knee braces, but nowadays, every athletic PG is rocking some knee pads and braces like they're playing football or something.

True, I always figured younger guards wore them to cover their knees diving on the floor or some padding in case they bump knees but evidently its not really the case
